Sunrise Bakery Ltd.

Who we are

A tradition of quality since 1963.

Providing our customers with quality products, quality service, and an experience they will remember with every bite.

Sunrise Bakery has been a symbol of dedication, quality products, and fantastic customer service for over 60 years! The business started in Edmonton as a small, family-run bakery that sold delicious goods to locals. Since then, we’ve evolved from this corner bakery to be a trusted partner and one-stop shop for multinational food service brands!

A lot has changed since then. But at the same time, we’re still the same family-run business who cares about creating delicious baked and confectionery goods for our customers – who our customers are have just changed! This shift in focus from retail to wholesale has allowed Sunrise Bakery to expand to a scale our founders likely couldn’t imagine.

Our Values

Reliability. Quality. Putting People First.

Sunrise Bakery’s values have remained the same since our inception: Reliability, Quality, and Putting People First.

People are at the heart of everything we do. As a family-run business, we value the connection and relationships we have built over the decades. Even though we have over 100 team members we value knowing everyone’s names, getting together for golf tournaments and holiday parties, and spending time as a team. We also value our customers, and we want to ensure that in every interaction they feel valued and cared for.

Our team also works to give back to our community and stay involved in the communities that we work in. We support a number of important causes, and we support our team members volunteering their time. Giving back to the community, ensuring our customers feel appreciated, and helping our team members feel safe and cared for is our top priority.

When it comes to Sunrise Bakery, people are the most important part of our business.

We’re committed to continuing to grow and flourish as Sunrise Bakery continues to shape into a one-stop shop for multinational food brands, but we’ll never compromise on quality or service.
